How does water change the Landscape?

Barnaby Bear has been finding out all about the River Fowey. While he was on Bodmin Moor, he found this strange pool of water underneath a rock.

an eroded peat bank Water erodes the ground over time. Here you can see how the water has worn away the ground and made a bank in the peat. The water has washed away the peat until you can see the granite rocks that were in the ground.
Here (Yorkshire), water has eroded a v shape into the side of the hill. The river follows the line of trees down the hill and eventually flows into a lake. valley cut into the hillside
