Barnaby Bear has been finding out all about the River Fowey. While he was on Bodmin Moor, he found this strange pool of water underneath a rock.

Water erodes the ground over time. Here you can see how the water has worn away the ground and made a bank in the peat. The water has washed away the peat until you can see the granite rocks that were in the ground. |
| Here (Yorkshire), water has eroded a v shape into the side of the hill. The river follows the line of trees down the hill and eventually flows into a lake. |
