Just like the UK, Uganda is made up of small villages, towns and cities.
Barnaby Bear visited a small village called Salama. These are some of the houses in the village. The village is near a tea plantation. People who live in these houses are wood cutters or work on the tea plantation.
Lots of this village is taken up with the tea plantation. Here you can see children carrying their water across the plantation back to their houses.

This is a market in Katosa, a small town on the edge of Lake Victoria. There is lots to buy here.

This town is Mukono. Mukono is a very large town with lots of different kinds of houses and buildings.
What kinds of shops can you see here? The big white building is a hotel with a swimming pool.

Kampala is a large city, and has some buildings that you might recognise. There are many very large buildings here.
The traffic is very busy in and around Kampala, and can be quite dangerous, so most people travel on taxibusses or boda bodas.
The white and blue van is a taxi bus. Can you see the policeman guiding the traffic?
There is a big market in Kampala, meant for tourists. There you can buy local arts and crafts.
