Barnaby Bear on an African Safari!

After seeing all the interesting wildlife along the banks of the River Nile, Barnaby Bear decided that he would like to see more.

Barnaby Bear had to hire a driver, and cross the River Nile to get to the Safari Park.

There are many different animals that live in Uganda. Most of them you will only find in the UK in a zoo. Many of them like to live here because of the hot weather, and the different plants that grow here.

Barnaby Bear went on safari, and he saw:

Antelope grazing antelopes,
baboons, Baby baboon riding on its mother's back
Buffalo buffalo,

crocodiles,

Crocodiles live 100 years, when they are 25 they start laying eggs. They lay 60 eggs a year, but only 1/4 of them survive.

After all that animal watching, Barnaby Bear was very hungry and thirsty. Unfortunately, he was so eager to get the lid off his soda that it fizzed all over him!
A very wet and sticky Barnaby Bear!
But with all the animals he had seen living in the Nile, he thought it would be a good idea to wait until he got home to clean himself up!
