It took more than a day to cross over Asia, but at last we landed in Japan.

When we got to Japan it was Wednesday, I was tired because I was too excited to sleep on the plane. I saw Mount Fuji from the window of the Jumbo Jet. It was hot in Japan. We had to wait for a fast train to take us into Tokyo. Mr Viner carried me.

| Tokyo is the capital city of Japan. It is very big; bigger than London. Mr and Ms Viner took me to a Japanese restaurant where everyone took their shoes off and sat on the floor to eat. We had to use chopsticks instead of a knife and fork. The Japanese eat a lot of fish! Our hotel was very high. | ![]() |

Today we visited a very old Buddhist temple. Most Japanese people are Buddhists and I saw some monks, all dressed in blue. |
The next part of my journey took me to Australia. I landed on the Gold Coast. Click the map to travel with me to Australia.
