Legal Stuff

Boring, I know, but this is my attempt at a disclaimer. As stated below, this site has been made for fun and for educational purposes - I'm not making any money through it, so please don't sue me! If you find your material here and want it removed, I will do so immediately.

Barnaby Bear was not invented by me, nor is this in any way an "official" Barnaby Bear Website. This site has been created by me partly to relieve the boredom of long summer holidays (yes I know, I have no life), but mainly to collect together an electronic 'album' of the travels of my own Barnaby Bear glove puppet, to use in schools, and eventually for my own classes to add to (when I qualify).

Most of the Barnaby Bear gifs and cartoons on this site have come from the College of St Mark and St John Barnaby Bear website, and were not created by me (although the animated ones were animated by me - as such, you would have to contact them before using them. I was inspired to make this site after contributing to the Marjon Barnaby Bear website, so some of the material here may look similar.

A few other pictures (maps etc,) have been adapted from brochures - it is difficult to find copyright-free-child-friendly-maps. Please don't sue, I'm not making ANY money from this site, it is just for fun.

All other maps and pictures used I have been given permission to use - references and credits for this material can be found on my links and thanks page.

I did not write any of the Barnaby Bear Big Books pictured on the teachers page, nor am I an employee of the Geographical Association, who own the copyright on Barnaby Bear. However they are aware of the site, and their logo is used on this site at their request.

This website is free for teachers, schools and children to use (any one really). If anyone finds any misinformation on this site, please let me know - it is not my intent to mislead or misinform children, but I am not a leading authority on Geography - this website is a learning experience for me in itself!

All the images on this site, unless otherwise stated are copyrighted to me! You are free to use them under the conditions of the Creative Commons Licence Creative Commons License. This states that anyone can use, print, copy, distribute etc. the stuff here, as long as they acknowledge me as the original author and copyright holder. The only thing you may not do is sell, or make profit from any of the stuff here - I'm not making money at it, so if you want to you have to get my permission first!

This permission does not cover use of images including children - these images have been used by permission of the children's parents, and as such, they may be used in this website and no where else.

Bibliography

Just incase anyone is using any part of this for an essay ( ;-> ), I suppose it would be referenced: Grantham, R (2003) (Published by me - work out where from!)
